The Dearborn Clearinghouse for Emergency Aid offers assistance to individuals in Dearborn and Ohio counties. In addition to their warehouse and pantry location on George St. in Aurora, they also have food pantries and clothing outlets in churches in Lawrenceburg and Greendale. Sacks of Snacks, or SOS, gives children a weekend's worth of meals, and over 400 children are served each week. They also house our POP program for parents and their preschoolers, and more programs are coming. Click the logo for more info.

River Valley Resources, based in Madison, is the state provider for Adult Education in Dearborn County. We partner with them to prepare students for their class, which is an intensive preparation for the High School Equivalency Exam. Class meets several days a week at the Lawrenceburg Work One office. The Education Center of Rising Sun is a testing site for the HSE (formerly the GED), and offers many classes for adults as well as tutoring for the local school children.
